Interdisciplinary Research Groups

 

The University of Miami has a number of vibrant research groups that bring faculty and graduate students together from different disciplines across the university. Our fabulous colleagues at Florida International University also routinely participate in these meetings. These groups cover interdisciplinary subject areas such as Atlantic Studies, Digital Humanities, Early Modern Studies, Environmental Studies, Queer Studies, and Theatre and Performance Studies. Most of these research groups are organized through UM's Center for the Humanities. 

Additionally, a group of our Ph.D. students founded their own research group, the Critical Cultural Studies Graduate Collective. You can find out more about this group by visiting their website.
