Goran Reading Series, 2010–2011

lester-goranDuring the 2010-2011 academic year, the University of Miami’s Creative Writing Program honors Professor Lester Goran’s 50th teaching anniversary by bringing to campus several of Goran’s former students, writers who have established their own esteemed reputations as authors and professors of Creative Writing.

This year, writers from the Goran Reading Series offer a public reading, a Master Class for graduate and undergraduate majors, and a community workshop with our partners at Books and Books.  All events are free and open to the public.

The Goran Reading Series is sponsored by the Creative Writing Program, The Department of English, The College of Arts and Sciences, The Master of Arts in Liberal Studies, The Office of Executive Vice President and Provost, The School of Communication, and our community partners at Books & Books and WLRN.
