Journals

Through the innovative vision of Sandra Pouchet Paquet of the English Department and the Digital Media Lab of Otto G. Richter Library, Anthurium

began with a special issue in honor of Kamau Brathwaite and has continued to grow as a journal that features art, scholarly essays, poetry, short fiction and reviews. We are proud to have a readership across the United States, Canada, Central and South America, as well as many countries in the Caribbean, Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia.

Since 1987 the James Joyce Literary Supplement has been an essential source for reviews of recent scholarship on James Joyce and related topics. The journal has also provided selected Ph.D. students with valuable experience in scholarly editing.

Sinking City is based out of Miami, where rising sea levels threaten the future of a diverse, multicultural community. Our online literary journal is published semi-annually by MFA students at the University of Miami.
